Jordan Dalladay-Simpson BA MRes(lon)

From as early as I can remember, I have always had a deep facination with the world and its questions. Fundamentally, I am a design researcher specialising in understanding and developing new modes of facilitating co-creative practice. However, I also hope to maintain a heathy personal design practice, and have industry experience in the fields of service design, graphics, web design, user experience and R&D. I would say that I’m always looking for novel experiences and new challanges.

I graduated with first class honors from Goldsmiths and hold a Masters by Research (MRes) in Design from the University of London. I have been working towards a PhD in asserting the benefits of co-creation as a means to develop re-directive and eudemonic design practices. I am also co-founder of the Artist-led Initaitives Support Network (ALISN).

Ayako Fukuuchi BA MADF

I am originally from Tokyo, Japan. While I was working in Japan, I was wondering about the role of the designer in society. I wanted to know the differences between specialists producing objects.

I then decided to give myself time to learn and think about design at a deeper level, which led to me choosing to study on the MA Design Futures at Goldsmiths, University of London. During the course of this study, I looked at issues around food, and found potential for designers to be catalysts of change in various ways. The thesis I produced from this investigation was entitled 'Food x Design = Sustenance', and asked the question, how can designers use their own 'sense and sensibility' to engage people with food more holistically to share 'joy'.

I am also a member of the Metadesigners Network (Au).

Hyaesook Yang BA MADF

Design Semiotics.
After studying graphic design in Korea, I worked as an interior designer, especially with cafes, bars and restaurants. I designed the overall concepts of these catering business, as well as choosing their food and suppliers. As a company we began collecting designer products from around the world and decorated our clients restaurants with them. Due to our growing collection of design artefacts, we decided to open a museum. This became the infamous Aa Museum in Seoul, Korea.

Through these experiences, I found that the potential of design along with thoughtful design thinking can help create increasingly positive futures.

I am also a member of the Metadesigners Network (Au).
